FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 29, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Comanche.

BURIAL: Sipe Springs CEMETERY in Comanche County.

VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral HOME on Friday night, November 28, 2014 from 6:00 P.m. until 8:00 P.M.

LUNCH: Lunch Will be at First Baptist Church following the funeral services.

LaMoyne Houser, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, in Comanche, Texas.

She was born on April 29, 1930, in O’Donnell, Texas, to Harvey and ALTA (Rodgers) Line. On June 21, 1953, she was united in marriage to Carl Marshal Houser in O’Donnell. He preceded her in DEATH on June 27, 1991. LaMoyne graduated from Hardin Simmons University and taught elementary school for twenty-five years. She was a member of the First BAPTIST CHURCH of Comanche, where she was a choir member and also pianist for the Children’s Choir. She started the Prayer Room at the First Baptist Church and was a teacher of Joy Sunday School Class. She was a lifetime member of the Heritage Club. LaMoyne was an “A Plus” mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by two sons, David Houser and wife Kimberly of Newburgh, Indiana, and Brent Houser of Cypress, Texas; one daughter, Carla Houser of Cypress; three grandchildren, Tara Cupp, Brittany Riecken, and Amber Houser; three great- grandchildren, Dylan, Jacob and Colton; extra son, Matt Dixon of Hawaii; and NUMEROUSnieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Alta Line; and two brothers, Harrell Line and Rodger Line.
