STEPHENVILLE (February 2, 2015) — Tarleton State and Stephenville native Katelyn Conlee exploded at the plate like never before to open their 2015 softball campaign Monday.

Tarleton amassed 26 runs, its most ever in the first two games of a season, topping 21 runs in the opening two games in 2003.

Conlee did more than her fair share of the damage, combining for a perfect 7-7 with 10 runs batted in to lead the TexAnns back from behind in both games to win 15-14 and 11-8. She was 4-4 with 4 RBI in game one, followed by a 3-3 performance with 6 RBI in the nightcap.
