Lingleville, Huckabay boys each win, maintain top spots in 18-A

(February 4, 2015) — Post Jarod Hagood dumped 15 points through the net as Lingleville led throughout following a 15-0 run to begin the game Tuesday night, defeating Lipan 55-40 on Parent Night at LHS.

Lingleville maintains its one-game lead over Huckabay atop the 18-A boys standings. Lingleville’s clubs visit Gordon on Friday.

Joining Hagood in double figures were Tim Griffin and Colbe Stoker with 10 each. Brady Sult scored six, Bailey Fenn and Tom VanKranenburg five each and Meine Huisman four.

Huckabay stayed within a game of Lingleville when the Indians went on the road to beat Strawn 57-48 behind 28 points by Gavin Fuentes.

JW Weiss scored 13 and Cade Little 10 for Huckabay. Ky Bray added four, Jordan Ritchey one and Tyler Stegall one.

Huckabay’s clubs entertain Lipan Friday.
