STEPHENVILLE (February 13, 2015) — Noble Alexander called “keeper,” meaning he would come up and field the ball behind the defense. Then he unleashed a bomb.

Alexander punted the ball across the midfield line and into Mineral Wells territory, and sophomore forward found it, created just enough space, and unleashed a rocket from the right flank, crossing the keeper’s face on its way into the back corner of the net.

The early goal was all Stephenville needed as it suffocated Mineral Wells thorughout the night to improve to 3-1 in District 4-4A play and a 2-0 series lead against the Rams.

Stephenville faces Abilene Wylie on Tuesday.
