STEPHENVILLE (February 18, 2015) — Tarleton State University will host an Information Fair for all prospective students on Saturday, Feb. 28, providing help with admissions and financial aid as well as other topics.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the university’s Fort Worth location, the Hickman Building, 6777 Camp Bowie Blvd.

Tarleton faculty, staff and students will be on hand to provide information about academic programs, financial aid and scholarships, career possibilities and advising. Prospective students with transcripts may be able to apply for admission or transfer that day.

Tarleton offers nearly 100 degree programs in five academic colleges, plus the College of Graduate Studies. The university main campus is in Stephenville, with outreach campuses in Fort Worth, Midlothian, Waco and a Global Campus online for bachelor’s degree students with at least 30 hours of college credit and for graduate students.

Presentations on Tarleton programs—from study abroad to Honors, from military veteran’s support to career services—will occur throughout the day. Faculty members also will make presentations on areas of study.

Representatives will be available to answer questions about residential living and learning, student life, library resources and each academic college.

Free parking and refreshments will be available. Representatives from The New Country radio, 96.3 KSCS-FM, will do call-ins for broadcast during the morning.
