Tickets are expected to go quickly for the 4th annual Dinner Tonight! Healthy Cooking School, featuring nationally known Nicole Sparks and Jenna Marwitz, otherwise known as the Crockin’ Girls (www.crockingirls.com).  These young mothers and friends have hit a hotspot of interest among busy families looking to prepare delicious home-cooked meals, but not having lots of time or know-how.  Be prepared for a fun filled night of demonstrations and amazing door prizes!

The Dinner Tonight! Healthy Cooking School will be held on Tuesday, March 24 from 6-8 p.m.  in the Barry B. Thompson Student Ballroom at Tarleton State University.  The cost of the event is $20 (plus one or more non-perishable food items for a local food bank donation).

Our guest cooking demonstrators this year will be Casie McCauley, Unit Manager for HEB in Stephenville and The Crockin’ Girls from Brownwood.  They will demonstrate healthy, delicious recipes from the Mediterranean meal plan.  The Crockin’ Girls will also show how to make ordinary recipes slow cooker friendly.

In addition to the cooking demonstrations, local health authorities from Texas Health Resources, Tarleton State University, and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will present short, fun, and educational presentations.

Attendees will receive a gift bag filled with the Dinner Tonight! Healthy Cooking (vol. 4) cookbook along with other kitchen goodies.  They will have a chance to win a myriad of fabulous door prizes and enjoy light refreshments.

To register for the event, visit www.TexasHealth.org/Stephenville or call (877) 847-9355.
