FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 pm. Friday in First Baptist Church.

INTERMENT: Dublin Liveoak Cemetery.

VISITATION: 6 TO 8 pm. Thursday at the Funeral Home.

MEMORIALS TO: First Baptist Church in Dublin.

Wyette Dawn Jurney of Dublin was born on October 15, 1925 in Hamilton Co., Texas. He went to be with his LORD on February 23, 2015 at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 8 days. He was the son of J. Conger Jurney and Esther Roberta (Riley) Jurney. He was united in marriage to Dorotha Jean Bradley on July 13, 1946 in Edna Hill, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife on May 23, 2004; (2) Sons, Jerry W. Jurney on February 6, 1953 and Donald Charles “Donnie” Jurney on January 7, 2006.

Wyette is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Mike & Celinda Jurney of Dublin, Texas; His Grandchildren, Kyle Jurney & wife, Christy of Iola, Texas and Kassi Jurneyy of Dublin; his great-grandchildren Jenna & Ryan Jurney.

Wyette was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving in World War II, a Rural Mail Carrier for 25 years, operated a Dairy for 17 years and raised beef cattle. He was a Trustee for the Dublin ISD for 10 years, member of the Lions Club, past president of the Holstin Association, member of the Dublin Goodfellows and the “Over The Hill 42 Domino Gang”
