(March 3, 2015) — Stephenville escaped Mineral Wells with a pair of 1-0 victories Monday night, in games that were delayed six days by the Winter storm that swept through the region.
Finally able to take the pitch at Ram Stadium, the Honeybees won on a clean-up goal by Codi Beyer off an assist by Tatum Sharp. Beyer was in her first game back from an injury that has kept her out of recent District 4-4A action.
The Yellow Jackets won by the same score, with the only goal provided by Brady Alford thanks to an assist from Aaron Veloz.
Stephenville visits Brownwood at 5:30 and 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at Gordon Wood Stadium.
