Trey will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Sunday April 26th 2015 at 2 p.m. at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Trey Meiron (Vincent Leo III) was born September 3, 1959 to Betty and Vince Meiron in Abilene, Texas. He left this world on March 17, 2015. As a young man, he was an avid baseball player, a passionate actor and a beautiful poet. Trey graduated from Cross Plains High School with the class of 1977 earning scholarship possibilities to Oral Roberts University and Hardin Simmons University. He was just shy of being a National Merit Scholar. He spent six years in the US Navy and finished as Petty Officer First Class Electricians Mate and was plank holder for the USS Michigan. After the Navy, Trey went to work for Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station where he worked for over 20 years while also pursuing his BS in Applied Science and Technology which he earned in 2003. He loved hunting, fishing, history, cooking-anything that brought a new experience; you never really knew what a conversation with Trey was going to bring!

Trey is survived by his parents, Vince and Betty Meiron of Rising Star; son Dustin Meiron and wife Liz of Stephenville; daughter Lindsey Ellibee and husband David of Leander; daughter Mary ‘Eraika’ Meiron of Stephenville; daughter Catherine Meiron of Stephenville; grandchildren Dylanjer, Aubrey, Reid, and Ally; sister Susan Hutchins and husband Duane of Lake Brownwood; brother Andy Meiron and wife Pat of Tuscola; nephews Alan Hutchins and wife Emma; Aron Hutchins; Will Meiron; Hunter Meiron and many, many more family and friends he so loved.

In lieu of flowers a savings fund has been arranged at Texas Bank to benefit Trey’s youngest daughters with their educational endeavors. For more information contact Dustin at dmeiron@yahoo.com.
