Stephenville, Services for Marie White, 81, homemaker, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2015, at Couts United Methodist Church, Weatherford, with Rev. Alison Zollinger officiating. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Stephenville. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Lacy Funeral Home..

Marie was born in Rotan, Texas on July 26, 1933, to Emett Weems and Minnie Campbell. She married C.E. White on December 5, 1953, in Stephenville. He preceded her in death on September 3, 1994.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Brenda Bryan and husband Greg of Granbury, Karen Garrett and husband Kenny of Weatherford; 2 sons, Ronnie White and wife Ruth of Missouri City and Terry White and wife Claudette of Stephenville; sister Alta Vick of Fort Worth; brother, Jesse Weems and wife Jo of Clyde; sister-in-law, Larue Weems of Stephenville; grandchildren include, Ginger Bryan, Mandy Brown, Jessica Luersen, Joshua Garrett, Chelsea Rutledge, Jenny Garrett, Jeffrey White, and Tyler White; great-grandchildren include, Christian, Caleb, Aubrey, Anneliese, Kyle, Colton, Canyon, Brandy, Shawn, Seth, Kaylee, Alyssa, T.J., Corbyn, and Myles.

Marie was a member of the Methodist Church. She worked at Michaels for many years and she had a love for making crafts.
