Future Honeybees gathered on the hardwood at Henderson Junior High in Stephenville Monday for the start of Honeybee Basketball Camp under the direction of SHS head coach Alan Thorpe as well as high school assistants and junior high coaches. It was fitting that defense was emphasized first at the camp. Thorpe has coached Stephenville to six consecutive area championships including a pair of regional tournament runs, all with teams built on defense.
