STEPHENVILLE (June 23, 2015) — Calling all runners: The Jacket Swarm 5K and 1-mile fun run is coming to Stephenville City Park.
The event is set for 8 a.m. Saturday, July 25, and is a fundraiser for the Varsity Moms organization that benefits Stephenville High School varsity football. Register by July 10 to be guaranteed a commemorative t-shirt from the event. Registration is online at racedayservices.com, or print a form there and return it along with payment to SHS Varsity Moms, P.O. Box 370, Stephenville, TX, 76401.
Officials say the trail for the run will be complete by July 25 and expect no off-road running to be necessary. The 5K will be timed by Race Day Services with awards going to the top overall male and female as well as the top three males and females in each age group.
