Keep Stephenville Beautiful continues Memorial Bench, trash receptacle project

STEPHENVILLE (August 9, 2015) — In a continued effort to beautify the Downtown District, Keep Stephenville Beautiful had the fifth memorial bench installed Friday morning.
Generously donated by Marion Cole in memory of her  late husband, Cleve Cole, the bench was installed in front of Greer’s restaurant. Shown trying out the bench with Marion Cole is Mayor Kenny Weldon and Darren Carpenter.

Also, through another generous donation by attorney, Ernest Cannon  the fifth new trash receptacle has been installed in the Downtown District in front of the Cannon Law Office are Judge Don Jones and Perry Elliott who are shown standing behind the receptacle given in their honor.

In the past five years KSB has sponsored and overseen the landscaping of all six of downtown planters with the addition of individual timed sprinkler systems to each one,  five new benches, five new trash receptacles and landscaping around the Courthouse Annex.
