Cecil Willora Wilson Whitehead

Cecil Willora Wilson Whitehead born March 17, 1930 in Dublin, Texas to Raymond Wilson and Viola Whitehead Wilson, passed away August 10, 2015 in Hamilton, Texas. Cecil married the love of her life, Thomas Whitehead on May 13, 1946. She loved sowing, watching westerns on TV, and spending time with family. Her love for her grandchildren brought Cecil the most joy. Cecil was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas Whitehead, two brothers, two sons, two grandsons, and six great-grandchildren. Surviving Cecil are four sons, James Whitehead of Apache Junction, AZ, Bill Whitehead and wife Kay of Rockdale, TX, Tony Whitehead of Hamilton, TX, Jessie Whitehead of Hamilton, TX, two daughters, Virginia Nelson and husband Terry of Hamilton, TX and Jo Watson and husband Larry of Hamilton, TX. Also surviving Cecil are 23 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren, two brothers and three aunts, and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Services 10:30 am, Thursday August 13, 2015, Gillum Cemetery, Oakalla, Texas with Welton Watson officiating.
