DUBLIN (September 15, 2015) — A woman is in the Erath County Jail on aggravated assault charges and a Dublin man is in a Fort Worth hospital after a domestic assault Tuesday morning.
Just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, Dublin Police were dispatched to a home on Live Oak Street where a woman said she’d been in a fight with her husband and she’d stabbed him. According to reports, she told the dispatcher there was a lot of blood and he wasn’t responding.
Officers arrived at the home and cleared the scene for Dublin EMS who requested an air ambulance almost as soon as they arrived on scene. The helicopter met EMS at the Dublin Airport where the Dublin Fire Department set up a landing zone. CareFlight took the man to a Fort Worth hospital where he is listed in critical condition as of 8 a.m.
Dublin PD arrested Cassandra Villalobos, aka Cachis, 18 of Dublin, and booked her into the Erath County Jail on charges of aggravated assault, family violence, with a weapon, where she is being held on $50,000 bond.
