FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at Zion Lutheran Church in Priddy, TX

BURIAL: Saint John Cemetery in Priddy, Tx.

VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 P.M.

LUNCH: Zion Lutheran Church following the service.

Darrell Lee Riewe, age 58, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015, in Comanche, Texas.

He was born on August 14, 1957, in Comanche, Texas to Philemon Benjamin Riewe and Evelyn Stegemoller. Darrell was a custom fencer and welder. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Priddy, Texas as well as a member of the National Rifle Association.

He was a beloved son, father and brother and master of his trade. As a father, he believed his children could accomplish anything, and his support and love was seen in all he did. His greatest joy was teaching his son and daughter to hunt and fish, a passion of his that carried on as a family activity into their adult years. His close group of friends was more of a second family and shared his love of fire arms, outdoors and music. He was a master chef and loved entertaining his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by a son, Reed Riewe of Lake Worth; a daughter, Rachel Riewe of Lake Worth; his mother, Evelyn Riewe of Comanche; a brother, Donnie Riewe of Comanche; three sisters, Della Hicks and husband James of Comanche, Carla Davis and husband Greg of Madison, KS, and Shelia Summers of Comanche; and numerous nieces and nephews as well as many cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Phil Riewe, and one sister, Phyllis Wells.
