(November 14, 2015) — For the first time since joining the Lone Star Conference in 1994, Tarleton State is LSC champion in volleyball.
The TexAnns nailed down their first regular season conference title in 22 seasons in the NCAA Saturday a sweep of Cameron by scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-13.

Tarleton, the second ranked team in the South Central Region, outlasted Angelo State, the No. 1 team in the regional poll, by one game to win the conference title and the right to host the conference tournament for the first time next Friday through Sunday.
The TexAnns dropped their LSC opener at Angelo State, then won 13 straight conference games, a school record.

Leading the way past Cameron was sophomore sensation Hailey Roberts with 18 kills, 15 digs and four aces, likely clinching her first Lone Star Conference Player of the Year honor. She was favored to win the award in the LSC Preseason Poll and has backed up the hype by leading the nation in kills.
Kelsey Raglin had 11 kills and 11 digs at Cameron, while Chandler Gow made 40 assists, seven digs and three blocks, and Ayssa Garcia dug 16 balls along with acing two serves. Kenya Alexander had six kills and seven total blocks.
