STEPHENVILLE (December 30, 2015) – Tarleton men’s basketball is ranked No. 12 in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 poll.

Tarleton, who is 9-2 on the season, is ranked in the NABC poll for the 106th week in program history. This is the 37th straight week Tarleton has been ranked in the top 25 and 35th straight week to be ranked in the top 15.

The Texans were ranked No. 7 in last week’s poll but fell to Drury 68-67 in Las Vegas on Dec. 19. Both of Tarleton’s losses have come by a combined four points.

Tarleton is one of three Lone Star Conference teams to be ranked. Angelo State is placed sixth and Midwestern State is ninth. Texas A&M-Commerce received three votes in the poll.

After almost two weeks off, the Texans will return to action with a non-conference game against Southeastern Oklahoma State on Thursday, Dec. 31 at 4 p.m. in Wisdom Gym.
