STEPHENVILLE (December 30, 2015) – Tarleton men’s basketball is ranked No. 12 in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 poll.

Tarleton, who is 9-2 on the season, is ranked in the NABC poll for the 106^th week in program history. This is the 37^th straight week Tarleton has been ranked in the top 25 and 35^th straight week to be ranked in the top 15.

The Texans were ranked No. 7 in last week’s poll but fell to Drury 68-67 in Las Vegas on Dec. 19. Both of Tarleton’s losses have come by a combined four points.

Tarleton is one of three Lone Star Conference teams to be ranked. Angelo State is placed sixth and Midwestern State is ninth. Texas A&M-Commerce received three votes in the poll.

After almost two weeks off, the Texans will return to action with a non-conference game against Southeastern Oklahoma State on Thursday, Dec. 31 at 4 p.m. in Wisdom Gym.
