STEPHENVILLE (January 28, 2016) — Ron Mullins resigned Thursday morning as president of the board of directors of the Stephenville Economic Development Authority (SEDA).

“I received his resignation about 10 o’clock this morning,” confirmed Stephenville City Administrator Pat Bridges. “I imagine it will be discussed at the city council meeting on Tuesday.”

Mullins presided over a called meeting when the SEDA board selected Alora Wachholz, an economic development specialist in Flower Mound, as its lone finalist for executive director. Mullins was not present Tuesday, however, when SEDA held another called meeting for contract negotiations with Wachholz.

Mullins also resigned last week as president of the Stephenville division of First Financial Bank, which includes locations in Stephenville, Granbury and Glen Rose.
