(February 6, 2016) — Lingleville sailed to an easy 74-19 win over Gordon on homecoming night at LHS Friday.

Tim Griffin collected 22 points, eight assists and six steals to lead the Cardinals, who pulled away with a 16-2 second quarter onslaught for a 33-11 lead at intermission.

The usual suspects joined Griffin in dominating the Longhorns, as Jarod Hagood almost doubled up with 14 points and nine boards while Jayden Stoker accumulated nine points, seven assists and four steals.

Bret Cogburn, Tom VanKranenburg and Meine Huisman each scored six and Huisman grabbed eight rebounds, Bailey Fenn added five points along with seven boards, Parker Hallmark netted four and Sergio Rangel contributed two.

Lingleville welcomes Strawn to LHS on Tuesday. Tipoff will be about 7:30 p.m. following a girls contest.
