Undefeated Stephenville boys throttle Abilene Wylie

STEPHENVILLE (February 26, 2016) — Noble Alexander posted another shutout that featured three stunning second-half saves and Aaron Veloz scored two goals with an assist during a first-half barrage that led Stephenville past Abilene Wylie, 4-0, in a district soccer match at Lem Brock Field Friday.

Veloz crossed to Brady Alford, who opened the scoring just 31 seconds into the match. Veloz took over from there, scoring to make it 2-0 in open play and 4-0 on a penalty kick. Tino Rocha scored between the two from Veloz, and the halftime margin stood until the end.

Stephenville remains unbeaten at 11-0-2, and more importantly, are 2-0 in district.
