Stephenville – Bobbie Jean (Brown) Bachus, 86, teacher, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016. She was cremated. A private memorial service to be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Bobbie was born in Petersburg, Texas on June 7, 1929 to John W. Brown and Estella (Seeds) Brown. She married James Pierce Bachus on April 13, 1952 in Lubbock County, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2006.
She was a member of the Valley Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son; James O. Bachus and wife, Kim of Stephenville, grandson; James Ross Bachus and fiance, Cesilee Hammit of Stephenville, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James Pierce Bachus and a daughter; Johnniemae Bachus, and her parents; John W. Brown and Estella (Seeds) Brown.
