(March 22, 2016) — Martha Riojas of Dublin placed seventh in Division II and Amber Rush of Stephenville was was 10th in Division I in their respective weight classes at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association Girls State Meet last weekend.
Riojsas posted 350 pounds on squat, set a personal record with a bench press of 190 and set another personal mark with a deadliest of 330, totaling 870.
Rush squatted 395 pounds, bench pressed 185 and deadlifted 310 for a total of 890 pounds.
