Commissioners handle number of items on agenda

STEPHENVILLE (March 28, 2016) – Erath County Commissioners heard a report from Kerri Stanel with the Children’s Advocacy Center and handled a number of housekeeping items including:

• budget changes,

• approved the Fire Department’s request to deem a cab and chassis surplus property,

• approved the Fire Department’s request to go out for bids to sell the cab and chassis,

• approved an Emergency Management request to go out for sealed bids or Government Contract bids for a pickup,

• approved an Emergency Management request to go out for sealed bids or Government Contract bids for console for the EOC,

• approved Precinct 1 requests for exemption from the local purchase policy,

• approved Precinct 1 request to go out for bids on a used truck for the patching unit,

• approved the agreement between Erath EMS and PERCOM Online Inc., PER/COM Kilgore College Consortium,

• approved cell phone requests,

• approved narcotics K-9 Service Contract,

• approved a request from Precinct 3 to purchase a 1-ton pickup through Government bids, and

• approved an exception to the Holiday Leave policy for the Erath County Jail employees.
