Tryan, Corkill top world-class field at Hork Dog Roping

(April 7, 2016) — Three time world champs Clay Tryan and Jade Corkill were fastest in a star-studded field at the 2016 Hork Dog Roping last weekend in Las Vegas.

Tryan, of Lipan, and Corkill, of Huckabay, split $28,000 after winning with 28.82 seconds on five head. Corkill also roped with Lipan header Chad Masters and split another $7,500 with 30.94 on five.

Huckabay heeler Paul Eaves and header Clay Smith were second in 30.29, splitting $12,500.
