STEPHENVILLE (April 28, 2016) — Cricket has brought more to Stephenville than just a new option for mobile phone service.

With its grand opening Thursday, Cricket marked the return of business to the old Coca-Cola building on Washington Street, and the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce joined droves of residents and several local businesses in welcoming Cricket to its new location.

There was live music, food, booths set up by local businesses and more, highlighted by a Stephenville Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting to welcome its newest member.

Crickett, owned by AT&T, has 214 stores statewide, one official announced to the crowd, with more opening frequently.

The Coca-Cola building is an economic development project of Brooks Real Estate, who also has Affordacare, a medical clinic, set to join Cricket there later this year.
