Schreiber gears up for motorcycle fun run

STEPHENVILLE (June 1, 2016)- Schreiber Foods will host its first motorcycle fun run on Saturday, June 4, to raise money for Erath County United Way.

Registration begins at 9 a.m., kick stands go up at 10 a.m. and the fun run will end at 1 p.m. The ride will begin at the Cheese Plant (located at 923 CR 176) and will end at the Stephenville City Park.

The community is invited to come and join in the fun with a $5 barbecue lunch in the City Park. Schreiber is providing goody bags as well. According to Dudley Adams, the company will also be raffling off gift cards to the Loco Coyote and the Horny Toad.

The Black Road Drifters will perform live for the afternoon’s entertainment.

ECUW awards funding to 20 different non-profit organizations across Erath County, according to their website, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Girl Scouts, Disabled American Veterans and Erath County Habitat for Humanity.
