STEPHENVILLE (June 2, 2016) — Stephenville girls basketball coach Alan Thorpe and staff can’t control the weather, but they do have a backup plan for the completion of basketball camp.
While the morning session for young campers was completed as planned by Thursday, afternoon flooding has made led to the cancellation of two of the sessions for participants entering grades 6-9.
Camp for these girls continues from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday at Henderson Junior High and will include lunch for all campers. The final session will be from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at Stephenville High School.
