Yates, Driggers remain on fire while Woodard also wins

(June 21, 2016) — Marty Yates and Kaleb Driggers are on absolute fire, and Walt Woodard also recorded an average victory last week on the PRCA circuit.

Yates made more than $7,000 last week, placing first in the average, first in the opening round and second in the second-go at North Platte, Neb. and also taking second at Pleasant Grove, Utah. Yates has soared to 18th in the world standings after beginning the year on the ERA circuit, ineligible for PRCA competition. It’s the fourth consecutive week he has won a PRCA event.

Header Kaleb Driggers of Huckabay and heeler Junior Nogueira tied with Clay Smith and Huckabay heeler Paul Eaves in Pleasant Grove, winning more than $2,800 per man. Woodard, a Stephenville heeler, paired with Adam Rose to take the average at North Platte, where they were second in the first round and split top money in the second round, winning a total of more than $3,000.
