Carroll, Crawley record wins on PRCA trail

(July 11, 2016) — It was jublilee indeed for Hico heeler Shay Carroll, who along with heading partner Kolton Schmidt won the Laramie Jubilee Days team roping last week. It was the second straight week of big money for Schmidt and Carroll who are riding a hot streak after their shootout win at Ponoka Stampede in Alberta, Canada.

Jacobs Crawley also recorded a win last week. The reigning world champ was top in saddle bronc riding at Hamel Rodeo and Bull Ridin’ Bonanza in Hamel, Wyo.

Here is a look at last week’s success by local athletes on the PRCA circuit, with one event, the Rooftop Rodeo in Estes Park, Colo., concluding today.
