Services for Francois Maillot, 75, a ranch hand, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2016, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Father Fernando Preciado officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2016, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Francois was born in France on October 16, 1940, to Pierre Charles and Maritchu (Urritia) Maillot. He married Marie Etcheverria on October 2, 1966, in Cokeville, Wyoming. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Granbury, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Maillot of Stephenville; his children, Yvette Diaz and husband, Tommy, of Riverside, California, Madeleine Briseño and husband, Arturo, of Stephenville, Josette Contreras of Bakersfield, California, and Jean Pierre Maillot and wife, Rosa, of Bakersfield, California; ten grandchildren, Reneé, Arthur and wife, Ruth, Isabel, Adrian, Tony, Armando, Jessica, Kevin, Allison, and Shawn; two great-grandchildren, Anderson and Brooklyn; two brothers, Firman Maillot and Eugene Maillot both of France; and his niece, Bernadette, and nephew, Mariano.
