Season tickets on sale for Tarleton football, volleyball

STEPHENVILLE (July 18, 2016) – With the start of a new athletic year just over a month away, football and volleyball tickets are now on sale at the Tarleton Ticket Office.

For the first time since 2009, Tarleton has six guaranteed home football games on the regular season schedule. The Texans will make their home debut at Memorial Stadium against Southwest Baptist on September 10 at 7 p.m. From there, Tarleton will have five Lone Star Conference home games against Angelo State, UT Permian Basin, Western New Mexico, Texas A&M-Kingsville, and Midwestern State.

Season tickets for the busiest schedule in seven years are now on sale for $75 per person at the Tarleton Ticket Office. The ticket office is open from 1:30-4 p.m. every weekday and can be reached via telephone at (254) 968-1832.

In addition to season tickets, Football Family Passes in general seating are also available for $150 for a family of three. Each additional child adds $25 to the price. These can also be purchased at the ticket office.

Family Weekend is set for October 1 against UT Permian Basin while the next game – October 8 against Western New Mexico – will be Pink Out Night at Memorial Stadium. UTPB and Western New Mexico are the newest additions to the Lone Star Conference after officially joining the league on July 1.

Tarleton will return home on October 22 to host Texas A&M-Kingsville for Homecoming at 6 p.m. before wrapping up the home slate against Midwestern State on November 5 for Military Appreciation Night.

Meanwhile, the reigning volleyball champions of the Lone Star Conference will be taking the court in Wisdom Gym, beginning with the first home match on September 8 against Lubbock Christian to begin the Tarleton Invitational Tournament. The TexAnns will host 14 matches inside the friendly confines of Wisdom Gym and Family Passes are on sale now.

Family passes for volleyball are being sold for $125 for a family of three with a cost of $25 for each additional child.

Individual tickets can be bought on the day of the game or online at TarletonTickets.com. Football individual tickets are $10 for adults or $7 for non-Tarleton students while volleyball tickets are $5 for adults or $3 for non-Tarleton students. Tarleton students are admitted free with a valid student ID.
