STEPHENVILLE (August 26, 2016) – School may be back in session, but summer fun is ongoing in Stephenville. Splashville, the city’s water park, is inviting swimmers to dive into it first-ever extended season.

In the past, the facility closed its doors at the beginning of the school year, but C.V. Verastigue, aquatics coordinator, said Splashville will be open every Saturday and Sunday through the end of September.

Hours of operation and admission fees will not change. Verastigue said the facility will be open 12(noon) until 7 p.m. each Saturday and 1-6 p.m. on Sundays. General admission is $5.50 per person and reduced rates for children, senior citizens and twilight swimmers will still apply.

“Season passes will still be valid,” Verastigue added.
