Stephenville (9-9) was 4-4 last weekend at the Leander Volleypalooza tournament, where the Honeybees faced exclusively 5A and 6A competition.

Stephenville defeated Granbury but lost to Hutto in Flight 3 bracket play Saturday. The Bees avenged a loss a week earlier to Granbury and have a regulation match on the road against the LadyPirates at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Against Granbury, Nicona Stilwell had 11 kills, seven digs and three blocks, Jayci Morton had seven kills and Emily Brandon five. Taylor Garber tallied 14 assists, two aces, four digs and three kills. Hailey Martin racked up 25 digs.

Stilwell had eight kills, Garber 14 assists and Martin 18 digs against in the loss to Hutto.
