STEPHENVILLE (October 15, 2016) — The Stephenville Lions Club enshrined five new members with Stephenville High School Athletic Hall of Fame honors Friday.
Former volleyball and track and field standout Mikayla Hart Elliott, former football, basketball and track star Trey Taylor, past softball and volleyball headline maker Alison Snow, 1968 girls basketball state champ Barbara Shipp Leesley and past head track and assistant football coach Randall Edwards each joined the hall in the annual ceremony.
Lunch was held at City Hall, followed by the induction ceremony in the SHS foyer, where Hall of Fame members are permanently on display. The inductees were also recognized at the Stephenville-Brownwood football game Friday night at Tarleton’s Memorial Stadium.
