Stephenville – J Drake, 80, a tool & dye maker, passed away on October 16, 2016. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 29, 2016 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with Father Curt Norman officiating.
J was born in Keller, Texas on October 21, 1935 to Louie and Elisabeth Drake. He married Barbara Danner on March 6, 1955, in Oklahoma.
He was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Stephenville. He was also a Life Member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Drake of Stephenville; two children, Dan Drake of Southlake, Texas and Geri Lynn Duke and husband, John, of Watauga, Texas; one grandson, Kaleb Drake; one great-granddaughter, Haley; siblings, L.V. Drake of Keller, Texas, John B. Drake of Kentucky, Jack Drake of Fort. Worth, Texas, and Sandra Foster of Agnes, Texas.
Memorials may be made to the Stephenville Senior Citizens Center at 164 E. College Street Stephenville, Texas 76401.
