ERATH COUNTY (October 19, 2016) – There were an estimated 800 guests at the 22nd Annual Choices Fundraising Banquet at The N at Hardway Ranch on Tuesday.

Several individuals addressed the crowd about the different things going on at Choices Clinic of Stephenville and the new location in Hamilton, including Ashley Graves, of the Choices Clinic spoke of the need to raise more money for the completion of their new location which is being constructed next to Pizza Plaza on Harbin Drive and will offer more room for new programs.

Graves then introduced two young ladies who shared their stories with the crowd about how Choices Clinic helped them when they came to the clinic for guidance and assistance. Choices Clinic is a Pro-Life, Christian organization who does what they can to prevent abortions and, as one speaker put it, “save as many unborn babies as we can.”

Later in the evening, guest speaker Oliver North took the stage and shared some of his own experiences along with a short program. North shared his Christian beliefs with the crowd.  Following a live auction, North offered a challenge to the crowd.  He said if 20 people would pledge to donate $1,000 to Choices, he and his wife would also donate a $1,000 check.  It worked as 21 people pledged $1,000 checks to Choices.

The entertainment was provided by Southern Anthem and the food was prepared by Hard 8 BBQ.

On the way out, guests were able to purchase one or more of North’s three books on display while he signed them for the guests.  It was a wonderful event and a lot of money was raised for the clinic with a lot more money pledged.
