Shop local promotion features $10,000 giveaway

STEPHENVILLE (October 28, 2016) — Any economic expert can talk you through a long list of reasons to shop local, but KSTV is doing more than just talking.

KSTV-FM Radio, it’s sister station Fiesta 1510 AM/93.9 FM Spanish Radio and area businesses are partnering up in a $10,000 giveaway, and all that’s required of patrons to enter is to shop local. Almost 50 businesses in Erath County – mostly in Stephenville but also three in Dublin – are participating, ready to offer you one entry for every $10 you spend at their location. Participating businesses will also give you one ticket just for entering their business and asking about the shop local promotion.

Patrons will be given tickets for every $10 spent up to $1,000 – that’s 100 tickets – at participating businesses, and on December 19 at 7 p.m. KSTV will bring all the tickets to the Bosque River Center and draw a winner, who must be present and present the winning ticket within five minutes or another ticket will be drawn.

KSTV is even encouraging local residents to create spreadsheets with their numbers so they can easily determine if they are holding a winner.
