WHAT’S AT STAKE
The TexAnns are currently sitting in second place in the conference standings and third place in the regional rankings. Tarleton will need to handle its business over the final four games of the season while getting some help from around the league to retain the conference title. The TexAnns are currently three games behind Angelo State in the LSC standings. Meanwhile, Midwestern State is fighting for the final spot in the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament. The Mustangs hold a one game lead over Texas Woman’s for the final spot in the postseason while Cameron is mathematically eliminated from contention.

ABOUT THE TEXANNS
Tarleton just recorded its 20th win of the season for the 12th time in program history, seven of which have come under head coach Mary Schindler. The TexAnns enter the game led by Hailey Roberts, the national leader in kills (470) and kills per set (5.40). Tarleton looks to improve on its 10-2 home mark this season.

ABOUT THE MUSTANGS
The Mustangs have made a five-win improvement over last year by winning 11 games thus far. Midwestern State is led by Aerielle Edwards with 276 kills this season while Meghan Bettis (258) and Sarah Garfield (234) have also topped the 200-kill plateau this season. Kristan Aduddell leads the Mustangs with 784 assists while Bettis leads the team with 255 digs.

ABOUT THE AGGIES
One year removed from advancing to the LSC Tournament semifinals, the Aggies have fallen on hard times in 2016 as Cameron is 3-22 this season including a 1-15 mark in league play. Cameron does not have a single senior on their roster and is led offensively by Jenna Gillean with a Cameron single-season record 339 kills thus far.

SERIES HISTORY
Tarleton and Midwestern State have met on the volleyball court 45 times since 1978 and the TexAnns hold a 29-26 advantage in the series, including victories in 11 of the last 12 and five straight. The TexAnns will look to inch closer to a .500 mark all-time against Cameron as the TexAnns are 18-25 against the Aggies, but have won 15 straight dating back to 2008.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The TexAnns will wrap up the regular season with its New Mexico road swing next weekend. Tarleton will visit Western New Mexico on Nov. 11 and Eastern New Mexico on Nov. 12.
