(November 9, 2016) — Marissa Warren poured in 24 points as Hico knocked off Eastland, 50-45, in the girls basketball opener for both teams Tuesday at HHS.

“We were a little sloppy, but a lot of that was just having one practice with the volleyball girls,” said Hico head coach Brad Stegall. “We did some good things and some bad things, but we got the win.”

Kaylee Roach joined Warren in double figures with 11 points while Lauryl Stegall netted five, Kaylee Moore four, Shelby Polk three and Emilee Jackson three.

Hico hosts Huckabay at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
