Services for Kaye Anderson, 69, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, January 15, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken May officiating. A private burial will follow. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Kaye succumbed to complications of pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and faded from this world on January 11, at Texas Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest in Ft. Worth. Her hand was being held by her husband of 54 years.
She is survived by her husband, Foster (Andy) Anderson of Stephenville, Texas; children, Steven Anderson and wife, Cindy (née Talley) of Clifton, Texas, Gregg Anderson and partner, Peter Talley of New York City, New York, and Amy (née Anderson) Myers and husband, Kevin of China Springs, Texas; sister, Lawana Slaughter and husband, Jerry of Howe, Texas; grandchildren, Cooper Anderson and Riley Myers; and several nieces and nephews.
Kaye was born in Bowie, Texas, on June 17, 1947, to Jack Stewart and Evelyn (née Lemmons) Stewart. She married Foster (Andy) Anderson on June 28, 1963, in Coleman, Texas.
She was a retired activity director and a homemaker.
