Stephenville – Services for Hulen H. Lemon, 84, retired oilfield, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 16, 2017, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ward Hayes officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 15, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home, Stephenville, Texas. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Molsbee Cemetery in Nocona, Texas, with Rev. Dale Berry officiating. The Lemon Family will receive family and friends for a time of visitation on Monday, January 16, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at the Jerry Woods Funeral Home, 600 Clay St., Nocona, Texas, 940-825-3285. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home, Stephenville, Texas, and Jerry Woods Funeral Home, Nocona Texas.

Hulen passed from this life to his eternal home on January 13, 2017. He was born on August 17, 1932, in Nocona, Texas, to Travis Lemon and Estelle York Lemon.  He married Dorothy (Richburg) Stokes on September 28, 1985, in La Cygne, Kansas.

Hulen was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and had worked with several churches to raise funds and rebuild houses for individuals who had lost their homes in the Cross Plains fires.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. Lemon of Stephenville, Texas; children, Tony of Fort Worth, Texas, Gus of Midland, Texas, Mark of Bowie, Texas, Cris of Nocona, Texas; step-children, Kathy Gilmore of Gorman, Texas, and Kenneth Stokes of Midland, Texas; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; eleven step great-grandchildren; and one brother, Don of Abilene, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Thomas Earl Lemon.
