(January 18, 2017) — No. 4 Huckabay (21-2, 6-0) received 18 points each from Presli Bray and Emmy Rodriguez and had four in double figures while rolling to a 75-52 victory over Gorman Tuesday in 18-A district action.
Bray scored 12 points after halftime, following 11 from Rodriguez before the break, when Huckabay torched Gorman for 41 first-half points. Kailin Dowell added 16 and Trinity Meador 11 for the Lady Indians.
Huckabay, the outright district leader with a trip to Strawn on deck Friday, also picked up five points from Tiffany Lopez, four from Brenna Yarbrough and one from Ciara Philips.
