STEPHENVILLE (January 23, 2017) — Kailin Dowell scored 16 points to lead the way as the No. 4 Huckabay Lady Indians continued to tear through the 18-A district girls basketball race.

Huckabay beat Gorman Friday, 55-27, as Dowell was joined in double figures by Kailin Dowell with 16 and Emmy Rodriguez with 11. Trinity Meador scored seven, Brenna Yarbrough four, Ciara Philips two and Savanna Graves two.

Huckabay has a district bye on Tuesday and hosts North Central Texas Academy from Glen Rose at 6 p.m. at The Teepee.
