Two local teens injured in accident on Cheese Plant Road

ERATH COUNTY (March 17, 2017) – Two teenagers were taken to Fort Worth hospitals following a single-vehicle accident on Cheese Plant Road Thursday evening.

According to DPS reports, 16-year-old Michael Ramsey from Stephenville was driving a 1997 Pontiac Firebird south on County Road 176 when an animal ran across the roadway causing the driver to swerve and hit the bar ditch, slide sideways and roll.

Both Ramsey and his passenger, 18-year-old Kaine Pack of Stephenville, were ejected from the vehicle and injured. Ramsey was treated and released from John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. However, Pack, who was taken to TexasHealth Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, is still listed in serious condition as of 10:50 a.m.
