Rocky Lewis Pack, born November 21, 1938, in Stephenville, Texas, died peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 19, 2017.

Lewis, a lifelong resident of Erath County, grew up in Greens Creek and attended Dublin High School. He married the love of his life, Beverly Sue Brown on July 4, 1959. He spent his life raising children (his own and any others that he could influence), laughing, playing and enjoying meals with family, working in the dairy business, dirt construction business, and law enforcement. He was active in his church and always eager to lend a helping hand to any in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents – Robert E. Pack and Myrtle Stone Pack, his brothers – Leon and Thomas Pack, his brothers-in-law – Bill Sharp and Ted Brown, his sister-in-law – Elva Brown, and his infant son – Murphy Lewis Pack.

He is survived by his wife – Sue; his daughter and son-in-law – Jackie & James Cox; his sons and daughter-in-law – Robby Pack and Rocky & Kelli Pack; four grandchildren – Preston Hart and his wife Makayla, Katie Chambers and her husband Quenton, Korie Chambers and her husband Chet, Colby Chapman and his wife Erin; seven great-grandchildren – Matthew (Chief) Chambers, Cole (Buckshot) Chambers, Chloee (Tadpole) Chambers, Kylie (Cricket) Chambers, Natalee (Nat) Chambers, Creed (Critter) Chambers, and Keegan (Moby) Chambers; his brothers and sisters-in-law – Carroll & Wanda Pack and Arthur & Beverly Pack; his sister – Charlene Sharp; his sisters-in-law – Shirley Pack and Virgie Pack; and numerous step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and an untold number of people who he influenced or helped along the way.
