One dead in home on Tarleton Street

FLASH STAFF REPORT

STEPHENVILLE (March 24, 2017) – Just before noon first responders were dispatched to a home in the 1000 block of Tarleton Street to a report of possible carbon monoxide poisoning. According to the report from Stephenville PD, upon arrival, “officers and EMS found several occupants of the house in obvious medical distress” and one of the residents, an adult female, was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to reports, the other occupants of the residence, an adult age male and an adult age female are currently being treated at  Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Stephenville. 

A home health care provider who had arrived on scene called 911 in response to the occupants’ complaints of distress.  No indication of carbon monoxide poisoning was apparent.  Officers could not release more information as the investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of death.  The name of the deceased is not going to be released at this time.

  1. …. So was there or was there not carbon monoxide poisoning? Was there a gas leak? Did someone turn on a valve? Was there something else going on?
