De Leon – Memorial Services for Ronnie Glen Nowlin, 66, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2017, at the Blue Moon Antique Mall in De Leon, Texas. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home, Stephenville, Texas.

Ronnie Glen Nowlin was born July 23, 1951, in Dublin, Texas, to Frank C. & Maxine (Barber) Nowlin and passed from this life July 26, 2017. He was an adoring and devoted father to his daughter Tiffany and grandfather to Sterling, Natalie, Quinley, and Rhett. Ronnie graduated from De Leon High School and Tarleton State University. While going to Tarleton, he was a member of the Tarleton Troubadours and toured with the USO in 1969.  He began his career in retail at W. H. Smith Department Store in De Leon.  After leaving De Leon, he worked at Neiman-Marcus in Fort Worth and Hemphill-Wells in San Angelo as a Buyer. He owned and operated Alpine Chalet Florist in San Angelo. Through the years, he was a successful business man in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with the penchant for design and sales. Of late, he returned to his beloved De Leon and recently was instrumental in opening three businesses with his friend and business partner Helen Adcock of Midland: The Soda Shop Antiques, Nowlin Markets, and most recently the Blue Moon Antique Mall.

Ronnie is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Rene Baudoin and husband, Brant, of Fair Oaks, Texas; grandchildren, Sterling Wade Lytle, Natalie Scarlet Lytle, Quinley Reese Lytle, and Rhett Harper Baudoin of Fair Oaks, Texas; his mother, Maxine Nowlin of Gorman, Texas; twin brother, Donnie Lynn Nowlin and wife, D’Arla, of DeLeon, Texas; brother, Larry Nowlin of DeLeon, Texas; sister, Sandra Files and husband, Nathan, of Gorman, Texas; and Best Friend, Ouida Vian, of Iowa Park, Texas.  He was preceded in death by his father, Frank C Nowlin, sister, Sharon Nowlin Hart, and by his special Great Uncle and Aunt, Lon and Jewel Smith.
