Memorial Services for Ronald Leigh Oliver, 83, an aviation technical editor, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 5, 2017, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with Mother Clayola officiating.

Ronald was born in Norwalk, Wisconsin, on April 16, 1934, to Otto Orin and Hazel Arabelle (Francisco) Oliver. He married Genevieve Alice VonRuden on August 24, 1954, in Cashton, Wisconsin.

He was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, a Korea and Viet Nam Navy veteran (Retired Chief Warrant Officer-4), a member of the Optimist Club, American Legion, VFW, Boys Scouts, and the retired Officer Association.

Survivors include his wife, Genevieve (Gene) Oliver of Stephenville, Texas; seven children, Rand Oliver and wife, Penny, of Waynesville, Ohio, Ann Oliver and Cary Drury of Richardson, Texas; Susan Caldwell and husband, Floyd, of Lewisville, Texas, Steve Oliver and wife, Elizabeth, of Allen, Texas, Brad Oliver and wife, Janice, of Clearwater, Kansas, Meg Oliver of Stephenville, Texas, and Jane Oliver of Flower Mound, Texas; nine grandchildren, John Oliver, Derek Profitt, Mary Mahone, Alex Profitt, Sally Powers, Amanda Frick, Catherine Way, Florencia Oliver, and Chris Oliver; and eight great-grandchildren.
