Kenneth Dwayne Schronk, 65, has gone to be with the LORD on August 16, 2017. He was born in Dublin to his parents, Lawrence Ervin Schronk and Joyce Marie (Atchley) Schronk, on June 8, 1952. Kenneth joined the United States Army Field Artillery Division where he retired after many years of service. He married Kelly Jane Pettijohn, in Stephenville, Texas, on August 23, 1985. Together, they raised their children, Kimberly Faith and Kenneth Dwayne, Jr.

Kenneth was a Baptist as well as a member of AMVETS, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and Sons of the American Revolution.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents – Lawrence Ervin Schronk & Joyce Marie Schronk; his brothers – Larry & Jimmy Schronk; and his sisters – Sharon Kay Marie Schronk & Pamela Kay (Schronk) Sandoval.

He will be remembered by his wife – Kelly Jane Schronk of Dublin, Texas; his daughter and her fiancé – Kimberly Faith Hannon & Jason Konsavich of Dublin, Texas; his son and daughter-in-law – Dr. Kenneth Dwayne, Jr. & Cassie Schronk of Lubbock, Texas; his granddaughters – Alezandra Marie-Jane of Dublin, Texas and Caylee Schronk of Lubbock, Texas; his grandsons – Karston Barron Young of Dublin, Texas, Kolton & Connor Schronk of Lubbock, Texas; his brothers – Robert Lee Schronk of Hamilton, Texas, Ricky Don Schronk of Snyder, Texas, Martin Ray Schronk of Richmond, Texas, and David Graham of Gatesville, Texas; his sister – Diana Terrell of Hamilton, Texas; his aunt and uncle – Josephine & Alan Blum of Clifton, Texas; and a great number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him greatly.
